Dear School Community,
The Adams County Ohio Valley School District is committed to the health and safety of our
students and staff. In partnership with the Adams County Health Department, the Ohio Valley
School District had made the decision to transition from in-person learning to virtual learning
for all students from November 16, 2020-December 9, 2020. This decision is supported by the
fact of an alarming increase in the number of Covid-19 cases spreading throughout the county.
Our intent at this time is to return to school on December 10, 2020.
If you have any questions, contact your child’s school.
As a reminder:
Please self-monitor and do NOT attend events and practices when ill and feverish (even with cold, flu, or allergy symptoms).
Continue to wear masks when in public places, wash or sanitize hands frequently, and practice a six-foot social distance to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
