Good Day PES! Hadley and Harper Walker are working on their Home Economics class;0) 1. Grace Fellowship Church will be giving food out again tonight between 5 and 6. 2. On Friday, April 3 all work for the first three weeks is due to be turned in. Please complete all online work by the end of the day Friday and all paper packets must be turned in to the foyer area of the school. In addition, on Friday the 3rd, those families who are doing paper packets or whose teachers have communicated that there will be work available for pick-up, must come to the school foyer area to pick up the packets for the month of April. Pick up and drop off time for packets will be 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. on Friday. The doors will be locked after 6 p.m. Additional drop-off times for April work or pick-up (if you cannot make it this Friday) will be ONLY every Friday from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. 3. Also, in an effort to try to give more students access to online learning, if your family already has internet access and just needs a device, we have a limited number of Chromebooks that can be signed out for use. Devices will only be provided to families who do NOT have a high school student (as they already have a device that can be used in the home) and only one device will be given to each family regardless of the number of school age students there are. The pick-up time for the Chromebooks will be this Friday ONLY, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Mrs. McFarland and Mr. Boerger will be on the sidewalk of the bus parking lot, operating a Chromebook pick-up line so no additional people have to enter the building. Remember, there is a limited number of devices, parents will assume full responsibility for the cost of the device if lost or damaged, and only one device will be given to each family (not each student). If your family has internet and needs a device to access learning, again the ONLY pick-up time will be this Friday, on the sidewalk of the school's bus parking lot from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Good Monday PES! Food pick up this week will be Wednesday at Grace Fellowship Church between 5 and 6 p.m. There will be enough food in each bag to last the children 5 days. Children who are already placed on a weekend program will have their food delivered to them and are NOT to report to pick up. All bags are the same for delivery and pick up. Change in Homework Packets due to 'shelter in place' - Homework packets will be located at the entry doors at PES. You may either pick up or drop off completed packets at your convenience. As always, be safe and communicate any questions using bloomz to your teacher.

All students can visit Grace Fellowship Church to pick up food Wednesday (3/18) and Friday (3/20) from 5 to 6 p.m. Packets will be available at the church if you was unable to pick up today. Completed work can be dropped off at the Greene Beanery in a tub marked PES. The best communication is happening via Bloomz with your teacher. If you have any questions, send those to the teacher and we will compile a Q&A sheet as we learn more about certain situations. Mr. Boerger

Everyone Counts! CENSUS COUNT YEAR 2020!! Young children experience new adventures each day, and little ones need all of the support they can get during their early years. Responding to the 2020 Census is an easy, safe, and important way to help provide resources for children and their communities for the next 10 years. Count children in the home where they live and sleep most of the time, even if their parents don’t live there. Count them at the address where they are living on April 1, 2020. Count newborn babies at the home where they will live and sleep most of the time, even if they are still in the hospital on April 1, 2020. Only the Census Count Personnel see the number of people living in each home. No other agency has access to this information. In fact, all other agencies funding depends on the census too. So, if you have a single family or multiple families living together, don’t worry about counting the number in the household and other agencies finding out. They won’t! Responding to the census is easier than ever. You can complete the census questionnaire online, by phone, or by mail beginning April 1, 2020.
