Students in the Aeronautics Career Class had the privilege of Thomas Zachman sharing his experience with rockets and the future of aviation.
Paul Worley, Director of Adams County Economic and Community Development, spoke to students today about his career, the different career opportunities in Adams County and the importance of working hard in school.
Dr. Adam Zeigler from SOMC West Union Pediatrics visited West Union Elementary today and spoke to the students about the career of a Pediatrician. The students were highly engaged and very interested in his career.
Awesome job to the students that participated in the District Math 24 competition. Special recognition to Eli McCann for placing 2nd in 6th grade, Wyatt Caldwell for winning 5th grade and Colton Storer for placing 2nd in 3rd grade. Great job!
The STEM club ended the year with an exciting visit from Family Traditions last week. The students were thrilled with getting to get up close and personal with the animals.
Shaylee Pennywitt from the Adams County Health Department shared with students about her role and other careers related to counseling. Thanks for all of your help with our students!

Shoutout to our Ag students who presented to the Facilities and Transportation Committee on Friday! They broke down the pros and cons of robotic mowers and shared which ones they thought would work best. Awesome job showing off your research and overcoming your apprehension of public speaking.

Mrs. Foster and students from the Culinary Arts program at the Ohio Valley Career and Technical Center provided students with a hands on and tasty experience in the Service Careers Class today.
