NAES must be an exciting place to be! The Easter Bunny stopped by this morning to check on all of the boys and girls.

Tomorrow is the start of our Spring Break! Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 22nd. We hope everything enjoys their time off.

We appreciate how students at NAES continue to follow the school-wide expectations. These students have made good choices, modeling how to be respectful, responsible, and safe!

Last week, 6th grade students created their cell projects using a variety of things ranging from 3d printing to cakes! Check out a few of the projects that were turned in! All of the students did a great job!

This morning, 6th grade student Payton Johnson received her official award for her Fire Safety Poster that she created in the Fall in front of her teachers, family, and peers. Payton was 1 of 12 students across the state of Ohio to receive this recognition. Her poster design will be displayed at the Annual Fire Expo in September, will be on display in the lobby of the State Fire Marshal office and will be published in a calendar. Congratulations to Payton!

The North Adams High School Music Boosters is hosting a fundraiser during Opening Day of our youth softball/baseball programs!
Mark your calendars for a community health event.
Mondays are always better when you start them off by letting everyone know how awesome you are at Math!
Keep up the great work!

BrickMaster Club received news today that LEGOville is overpopulated and they needed to build more locations for people to live.
Students were challenged to not only build the tallest tower, but also a tower that could survive an earthquake, since LEGOville is built on a fault line!
Students collaborated and found solutions to make sure their tower survived the test! The winning group built a 23.5 inch tower that did not move when tested!

Bump, Set, Spike!
Information for volleyball camp can be found on the graphic!

In the midst of state testing, it is also National Assistant Principals Week and we want to give a quick shout-out and thank our very own Mr. Seitz for all he does for our school community at North Adams Elementary!

Our attendance for those grade levels who have tested this week has been awesome! A HUGE thank you to the parents/guardians for making sure your child comes to school ready to rock the state assessments! Your efforts are appreciated!

State testing is well underway but that hasn't stopped a few of our students from reaching their math goals!

REMINDER: PTO's Little Caesars Pizzas will need to be picked up today from 3:00-5:00 in the cafeteria.

Best of luck to our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students as they begin state testing this week!
Tests will begin at approximately 8:15 AM each morning. Making sure your child gets a good night of rest and starts their morning with a good breakfast, whether at school or at home, will ensure that your child's day gets started on a positive note!
We had a few kindergarten classes today score perfect scores on their weekly Exit Slip and their CVC spelling words!
Keep up the great work!

Tonight, at the Exceptional Achievement Awards Night, we celebrated one of our own!
Mrs. Howard is a true blessing to our staff and students and we are certainly grateful that she is on our team! Congratulations on your recognition! It is well deserved!

They say that there is power in numbers....and our numbers tell us that we have some rockstars in Math!
Keep up the great work!

Today in Brick Master Club, our young engineers participated in musical monsters. This challenge focused on the ideation technique, which are ways that engineers brainstorm and come up with crazy, innovative ideas.
Students took turns building a monster while listening to music. Once the music stopped playing, they would pass their build to another member in the group to continue the build once the music came back on. Students repeated this process until their monster was complete!

We are excited to recognize these students for earning the A/B Honor Roll for the 3rd Quarter.
