Today Kristy Watters brought incubators and eggs to our 3rd grade classrooms. Students will observe and document conditions in the incubator everyday including temperature and humidity. Today, students learned all of the parts of an egg, researched different habitats in order to compare those environments with the conditions of the incubator. Students will continue to conduct experiments and research until after 21 days, students will have baby chicks!

Our Cross-Categorical Class made ornaments and Christmas cards and sent them to Taylor Brown, who is in the Army and currently stationed in Oklahoma during the Christmas season. She recently sent students a thank you card and army badges that represent different army positions. Taylor gave some of the cards and ornaments to other soldiers who needed them during the Christmas season. The students loved getting to learn about the army and the sacrifices they make to our country.

A new after-school club is being planned and we are very excited about it! Introducing The Brick Master Club!
The Brick Master Club will provide a fantastic environment for students to explore their natural engineering instincts, ask questions, and bring their imaginative ideas to life. The club is designed to engage our 5th and 6th grade students in critical thinking and problem-solving while having fun with one of their favorite building materials- Legos!
More information will be pushed out very soon to our 5th and 6th grade parents regarding a start date and time of The Brick Master Club. Once the club is started, we hope to be able to expand this fun opportunity to other grade levels in the future! Stay tuned!
