The OVCTC FFA participated in Toys for Toys this past Christmas season sponsored by the United States Marine Corps. In addition, Bane Welker in Georgetown sponsored a local competition for participating FFA chapters to gather the most toys. From their efforts, the members gathered 1162 toys! The chapter also earned a donation of $1000 from Bane Welker in Georgetown, Ohio. With the $1000, the students chose to donate $500 to local CTC students devastated with home fires and loss, and the other $500 to the Shop With A Cop Program! The OVCTC FFA would like to thank the following sponsors and participants for helping make our event a huge success!

Early Childhood Education Junior, Hailey Newman, is using the skills she has learned during her time in the program in her current placement. She is currently placed in Mrs. Purcell's kindergarten classroom where she assists Mrs. Purcell and the students. Recently she read a story to the students who were so excited with the activity they asked her if she had more books to share. Thanks so much to each cooperating teacher at West Union Elementary who allows our students the opportunity to grow in this program.
