Congratulations to the following 4 OVCTC American FFA Degree recipients: Dalton Black, Jaycee Baldwin, Collin Hesler, and Zach Drummond!

The OVCTC Ag Business students have been working hard again to wrap up the hay season. On top of this, they have hauled several loads of manure and are getting pens ready for our new arrival of Boer does. They also had the experience of bringing some “old school” plowing back to get some hay seeding done for a local farmer. Watch our video clip to see how it works! Grain harvest will be underway as soon as it dries back up. More to come!

Last week, there was a sunshine filled morning at West Union Elementary. Early Childhood Education juniors Natalee Workman, Marisa Moore, Leeann Osborne, Santana Stanfield and Annabelle Grooms helped unload over 100 pumpkins donated by Erwin Farms and Cornmaze. These pumpkins will be used for a "kindergarten pumpkin patch". Community involvement and collaboration with schools is so important and this is discussed within our early childhood classrooms. As always thanks to West Union Elementary and their staff for providing daily opportunities for our ECE students.
