Peebles Flower Shop set up a mobile Mother's Day Shop in our small gym. Students enjoyed picking items to give to the special mothers in their lives. The McCann's are huge supporters of Peebles Elementary students. We appreciate all they do for our community.

This is a reminder that tonight, May 8th, starting at 7 pm at Peebles High School, The Adams County Ohio Valley Board of Education is hosting a community forum to meet the candidates who are applying for the superintendent position. We invite the public to attend the question/answer session to get to know the backgrounds and ideas that the candidates might have for our school district. Congratulations to Emily for earning Honor Reader status!! The Honor Reader award is a part of the Accelerated Reader program. It is a popular reading program we use at school. This program to monitors reading practice and progress. In order to become an Honor Reader, a student must read and pass the Reading Practice Quizzes with 80% or higher, certify in previous levels, and accumulate 100 points for books on a list of challenging literature that a teacher creates.

6th grade students had a great day learning about plants at Edge of Appalachia nature preserve!
Mrs. Vogler’s kindergarten class enjoyed one final visit from public librarian Ms. Amy this school year. The kids always look forward to hearing stories, doing movement breaks, and getting a craft.
We had a great turnout for our kindergarten program! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and all the staff who worked so hard to make this a great celebration.
