Mrs. Applegate's 3rd grade students listened to the story Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun by Maria Dismondy. They discussed the importance of being kind to others and celebrating differences. They each enjoyed a hotdog bun with spaghetti. Most students really liked it, even though it isn't the traditional way we eat spaghetti. One class invited Mrs. Brewer to join in on the taste testing.

Good afternoon, please see the attached picture to help with parking accommodations for parents who want to enter the building. If you want to enter the building during drop off or pick up, please stay in the car line until you pass the red line on the parking lot. If you want to enter the building between 9 and 2:30 you can park in the lot in front of the main entrance. If you have any questions please call the main office.
Want to get involved? Join the PTO! The first meeting is Tuesday at 4pm in the library. Due to changes in our dismissal procedures, you may park in the side lot by staff parking or wait until we safely dismiss all buses and car riders.
Welcome back for the 2023-2024 school year! School starts tomorrow, August 18, for 1st-6th grade students. The doors will open at 8:15 for student drop off. Help us keep students safe by not going around other cars in the drop off line. The tardy bell will ring at 8:45. Students will be dismissed at 3:15. If you are picking up your student, please have your white pickup number visible in your windshield. If you do not have a pickup number, please contact the office. KRA-R testing will start for kindergarten tomorrow by appointment only. Good afternoon! We are excited to start the school year with a new drop off and pickup route. Please see the attached picture for details. Morning drop off will start at 8:15 am. Please do not line up for evening pick up until 3:00. Please note the area for drop off and pickup of students on the map. It is very important for the safety of our students and staff you remain in line and do not pull out and go around other vehicles. We look forward to seeing everyone Wednesday evening for Back to School Night!

The Adams County Back to School Health Fair will be held on August 12, 2023, from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Adams County Christian School (across the street from Walmart).
NEW ADDITION: A sensory-friendly portion of the event will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am providing lower lighting and decreased noise/sound designed to create a welcoming environment for families of children with autism or other disabilities that create sensory sensitivities.
The event will have health screenings, child immunizations, games, food trucks, giveaways, school supplies, gift cards, parent information classes, and MUCH more! All children and teens from Adams County are invited and welcome to attend.
