Edge of Appalachia programs!
Tomorrow is our first night of parent-teacher conferences from 3:30-6:30 pm. While you're here, we will have a food truck, Kona Ice, and Hill's Lemonade!
Can't make it tomorrow night? No problem! Our next parent-teacher conference night is next Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 pm!
Kona Ice is coming this Thursday and will be staying for parent-teacher conferences!
Just a friendly reminder to help keep our drop-off process running smoothly. If you need to step out of your car to assist your child, please pull into a parking space so the line can keep moving for others. Be sure to pull all the way up to the end of the sidewalk (near the fire hydrant), so we can get as many children out as possible. Also, please avoid passing other cars unless directed by a staff member to ensure everyone's safety. Thank you so much for your cooperation and for helping us keep things safe and efficient!

Thank you does not begin to express the amount of gratitude we have at the outpouring of love and support for our community. We were able to provide four loads of baby items, and our Lady Indians Basketball Team raised and donated $143 to the hurricane relief. Again, thank you so, so much! You're providing examples for your children on how communities take care of communities!!!
My goodness! These two pictures are brief snapshots of donations towards those impacted by Hurricane Helene. We cannot express enough of our gratitude to all those that went out of their way to donate. Not only students, staff, and families, but businesses and facilities like the Adams County Manor and Adams County Veterinary Services (plus many more that I'm sure went unnoticed) answered the call. How wonderful it is to be in a community where our village spreads their wings to help other villages in need. On behalf of PES, we thank ALL of you.
Good afternoon, I wanted to touch base on a few things that are upcoming. Tomorrow is picture day for PES. You can order online using the code EVT8HPNVV. There will be no school for elementary students this Friday due to an elementary in-service, and no school on Monday in observance of Columbus Day. Additionally, there will be a 1-hour early dismissal on Friday, October 18th. Have a wonderful evening!
