West Union Elementary is asking for support as they collect money through a penny drive for the Adams County Humane Society. The drive will begin on Monday, January 25th and run through Friday, January 29th.
Reminder: There will be no school tomorrow, Monday January 18th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Grade cards will be sent home with students on Tuesday the 19th. Have a great evening!
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Winners! 1st Place-Brandi Chambers, 2nd Place-Connor McDaniel, 3rd Place-Rylee Ferrell and 4th Place-Evan Thompson. These students will advance to the District Spelling Bee which will be held at North Adams Elementary on February 4th at 6:30.
Reminders: Tomorrow Tuesday January 12th, there will be an early dismissal. School will dismiss at 2:05 for pick-ups and approximately 2:30 for bus riders. Our spelling bee for grades 4-6 will be on Friday at 9:15 a.m. For those who wish to watch, the spelling bee will be streamed live on Facebook. The Adams County Ohio Valley School District Board of Education will hold a Special Board Meeting - Organizational Meeting to be held on Thursday, January 7, 2020@ 5:00pm. This meeting will be held Virtually.

Upon review of the Adams County School/Community, staffing needs, student needs, and discussions with Dr. Hablitzel, the Adams County Ohio Valley School District will resume in-person school on Thursday, December 10th. We welcome our students back!
