Good evening. This is West Union Elementary with a few final reminders before we kick off the first day of the 2024-2025 school year. 1. The first day of school for 1st - 6th grade will be Thursday, August 15th. Doors will open at 7:15. Dismissal will begin at approximately 2:15. 2. Parents may walk students to the door in the morning but will not be permitted to walk them to their classroom. If they have a large amount of of supplies, we will have staff to assist them in carrying it to their classroom. If you are walking them to the door, you will enter Gate 3 and will park in the middle area. Staff will escort you and your child across the parking lot. 3. There are 4 town stops this year: The old school, the old hospital, the old northside church and the old McHenry lot. Have a great evening and we will see everyone on Thursday!

West Union Elementary students finished off their summer reading series by performing a play and reading poems for their families. Awesome job!

Students 4th grade and under MUST have an adult present at pick up and drop off. AM Pick Up - 7:10-7:20 AM - All town stops PM Drop Off - 2:10-2:20 PM - All town stops McHenry Lot (across the street from the Post Office / Sheriff's Lot - If you got on at the Boyd & Poplar stop you should go to this stop) NorthSide Church - (North Street) Old School Lot - (West South Street - If you got on at the Presb. Church you should go to this stop) Old Hospital- (North Wilson Drive)

Main Street, Peebles Ohio (Old Bus Garage) on Thursday, July 25, 2024. The equipment/busses will start to sell at 4:00pm and the real estate will be sold at 5:30pm. Beginning in summer 2024, Ohio has the opportunity to participate in a new federal permanent program called the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (Summer EBT), also known as SUN Bucks, that provides cash grocery benefits to households with children who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Today we celebrated the senior class of 2024 with a celebration walk through the elementary halls!

Huge shout out to our second grade performers in their talent show today, and thank you to all of the community support they received!

Fourth grade had a wonderful field trip to Family Traditions!
