Field Day is tomorrow! We know kids will be playing and having a great time. Our fearless Safety Patrol Leader, Mrs. Crawford, has snacks available for purchase during the day to help raise funds for our Safety Patrol trip. If your child will need a pick-me-up, our Safety Patrol will have them covered!
This weekend, we have been preparing our stations for our building wide field day on Monday, May 18th. We are ready to have a lot of fun! Here are a few reminders:
👉It is going to be hot. Please make sure that students are dressed cool and comfortable. It may be beneficial to wear a hat as well. Water bottles that they bring with them each day are allowed, as hydration will be important.
👉Some activities will have water involved. Your child can bring a towel with them on this day.
👉Shoes AND socks, please! Students will be running, jumping throughout the day. During their specials time, they will also be having fun on the inflatables in our big gym. Socks are permitted when on the inflatables!
👉Sunscreen: Please make sure you apply sunscreen to your child prior to them arriving at school. If your child brings sunscreen with them for the day, please make sure they know that sharing sunscreen is not allowed. Some students may be allergic to certain brands.
We are ready to have a great time at our annual building-wide field day!

6th grade has taken over the lead today. Let's finish out the year strong. We hope to see all students on the last three days of school next week!
Please make sure all library books are returned ASAP! We currently have 45 books still checked out.
Our kindergarten students put on a great show for their end of year program!
Miss Tolle & Mrs. Purdin’s classes finished up their Economics unit with a Food Truck Festival today to show what they have learned!
Students took on the role of producers and planned out their own businesses! They had to decide what goods to sell at their food truck, research what resources they would need, and set their own prices. They also named and designed their own truck and menu! Students then had to market their food truck to the class, and persuade their customers to purchase goods from them.
After all trucks were presented, students then switched into consumer mode and visited each food truck. They were given the task to choose 2 items from each truck they would like to purchase. As a twist, students were then given a budget to stick to, and had to make economic choices on what to actually buy, while staying within budget. Most came in under budget, but a few were over and had to reevaluate their purchases!
The creativity was amazing to see, and students did a great job of showing all they had learned!
3rd grade is leading the board today! Let's keep showing up for these last days!
It was a close race to the top today, but 2nd grade came out on top!
Preparing our 6th grade students for their next step in Jr. High is extremely important. This morning our 6th grade students are taking a tour of North Adams High School and learning all about the structure and environment.
Yesterday evening our prek students took the stage for their end of year program! The students did a great job!
As we approach the end of the school year, we still have students who are hitting on all cylinders!
