📣 Reminder: September is Attendance Awareness Month! 📣

We miss our students when they’re not here! Every day is a chance to learn, grow, and connect with friends.

  • Strive for 5 — fewer than 5 absences this year

  • Every Day Counts — every day matters

  • If your child must miss school, please send a note when they return

📊 Chronic absenteeism = missing 10% or more of school days. Let’s keep kids in school and thriving! 🌟

Our 6th graders learned how to be smart researchers today using the acronym D.O.N.U.T. to check if a website is reliable and credible. Here's what it stands for:
D- Date Published
O-Organization or Author- who wrote the information
N-NOT a blog or personal website
U- Up to date- is it less than 10 years old
T- Title, does it have one
If all of these are a yes, then it is credible and reliable!

After practicing their digital literacy skills, they got to enjoy the sweetest part of the lesson—real donuts! 🍩💻
