The grand finale for state testing will take place starting next week for our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students as they will be taking the Math test. Students in grades 3 and 4 will take part 1 of the state test on 4/29 and part 2 on 5/1. Students in grades 5 and 6 will take part 1 on 4/28 and part 2 on 4/30. All testing will begin each day at 8:15 AM. It is extremely important to make sure your child gets plenty of rest and starts their morning with a good breakfast, whether at school or at home!
Once test results are released, we will determine how many indicator points our school has earned. For every indicator point we receive from the state, ALL students will have the opportunity to watch administration do some not so fun things!

We are flexing out math skills before the big state test! Congratulations on reaching your math goals. Keep up the great work!

Our engineers in BrickMaster Club learned about buoyancy yesterday, as they were challenged to build boats and see how much weight they could place in their boat using bouncy balls.
The winning team built a boat that was able to hold 100 bouncy balls without taking on water!

Xtra, Xtra read all about it! These two have achieved fluency in addition on Xtra Math! Way to go!

Check out these amazing students who have been working hard and making great choices!!!

Congratulations to Wrenn and Dane for graduating from Speech! Your hard work has paid off!

📅✏Get ready to mark your calendars! As we approach our final month of school, we wanted to provide you with some important dates for May.

It's hard to believe that this school year will be coming to an end soon. For our last 10 days of school, we will have themed days as our way of counting down to Summer! We encourage all staff and students to participate in these days to celebrate a great year and prepare for a wonderful break!

There will be lunch changes for Thursday and Friday of this week.

Thank you to the Career Fair Supporters! It is not too late to sign up!

We have some students to celebrate, as they continue to CrUsH their math goals for the year! Keep up the great work!

Students are excited to be on break and hopefully have a suprise visit by the Easter Bunny. Before he hops down the bunny trail, administration thought it would be wise to put signs out in some yards today, so he knows that they are doing some awesome work at NAE!
Congratulations on being nominated Outstanding Staff/Student for the 3rd 9-weeks! Keep up the great work!

NAES must be an exciting place to be! The Easter Bunny stopped by this morning to check on all of the boys and girls.

Tomorrow is the start of our Spring Break! Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 22nd. We hope everything enjoys their time off.

We appreciate how students at NAES continue to follow the school-wide expectations. These students have made good choices, modeling how to be respectful, responsible, and safe!

Last week, 6th grade students created their cell projects using a variety of things ranging from 3d printing to cakes! Check out a few of the projects that were turned in! All of the students did a great job!

This morning, 6th grade student Payton Johnson received her official award for her Fire Safety Poster that she created in the Fall in front of her teachers, family, and peers. Payton was 1 of 12 students across the state of Ohio to receive this recognition. Her poster design will be displayed at the Annual Fire Expo in September, will be on display in the lobby of the State Fire Marshal office and will be published in a calendar. Congratulations to Payton!
