Adams County Ohio Valley School District School/Community:
The safety of our staff and students is always a priority. This evening, the district Safety Coordinator, Mike Parker, made me aware of the rumor of the TiKTok challenge encouraging students to make violent threats toward schools on Friday, December 17th. To date, NO threats have been reported either regionally or locally.

Alexis Blevins & Anthony Young, juniors in our CNC Machining Program made new chuck jaws for the new ST15 HAAS Lathe machine to replace the original jaws.
These jaws originally cost $600 so the students made jaws that will take insert jaws so the program doesn’t have to buy a new set of jaws everytime a different job is run. The students can just replace the inserts for different jobs.
